When I was kid, there are lots of amusement parks around us.
My relative used to work for Railway Company and we are getting free bullet train ticket so often, we travelled lots and went to many different amusement parks around Japan.
I left Japan almost 20 years ago and until now, I didn’t realise all those amusement parks are gone.
This was one of my favourite amusement parks because the roller coaster track was built on the lake called Lake Biwa which is the biggest lake in Japan. I always felt that I was going to under water with the roller coaster.
And this was not only amusement park, but also had hotel, Water Park and entertainment centre.
There was hot tab called “Jangle Bath” which was rainforest setting communal bath and they had real crocodiles in the jungle too.
There was also real Oriental Express as accommodation. It was not comfortable to stay in but was fun.
This amusement park and hotel were closed down in 1998.
